Terms & Conditions
- All accommodation rates and services advertised by the Reserve, whether directly, via marketing or online are quoted in New Zealand dollars on a per night basis and are inclusive of GST of 15%. Management reserves the right to alter tariffs without notice.
- Balance of accounts are payable on arrival and payment must be made for the fully duration of the booked stay.
- Brook Valley Holiday Reserve (“the Park”, “BVHR”) will not be in any breach of this agreement or in any way liable, if it is prevented from meeting its obligations due to an event of force majeure, such as an act of God, war, earthquake, riot, storm, flood, explosion, strike, or any other cause not reasonably within the control of the reserve.
- BVHR will not be liable for any delay or non-performance of its obligations arising from any cause including but not limited to acts of God such as floods, storms, and earthquakes, also fires, explosions, warfare, strikes or any other cause beyond our reasonable control.
- All reservations made must be by guests 18 years of age or older and proof of ID may be requested on check in. People under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay without a person older than 18 or permission from the Camp Manager.
- If you have not arrived or contacted us within 24 hours after the original arrival date, we have the discretion to cancel your reservation.
- Any early arrival or late departure requests are subject to availability.
- The maximum (consecutive) stay is 4 weeks, guests are more than welcome to then leave for 2 nights and return for another 4 weeks. Please arrange this with camp staff before you depart.
- We aim to place you in your chosen unit or on your preferred campsite but sometimes this is not possible. We reserve the right to move you to an alternative for operational reasons.
- To comply with the New Zealand Camping-Grounds Regulations 1985*, when setting up your campsite, please ensure that solid walls of any tent, caravan, motorhome or campervan are no less than one metre from any internal campsite boundary. This includes any slide-out portions of your motorhome or caravan.
- We ask that guests familiarise themselves with the camp rules so that their stay and the stay of other guests will be safe and enjoyable.
- Guests are entering the Park at their own risk and are responsible for their property, themselves and their visitors to the park.
- Guests on Park grounds are required to comply with their duties and obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and all relevant amendments and substitutions.
- Guests must ensure that they do not expose themselves, their children or their visitors to health and safety risks that are under the guest’s control.
- Please notify the Park as soon as possible of any identified risks to the health and safety of any person in the park.
- From time to time our marketing team take photographs/videos around the park for use on our social platforms or our website. We do not identify individuals without the individual’s permission. However, if you do not wish to be photographed, please advise reception.
- Please note, that we do have CCTV cameras around the park for security reasons.
- We do not sell or give your information to any other third parties.
- Costs of damage to BVHR assets, property or accommodation can be recovered by the park.
- Any breach of these terms and conditions or code of conduct could result in immediate expulsion from the park without a refund and forfeiture of any re-book status.
- We reserve the right to levy additional charges for cleaning (beyond the standard post-stay clean), breakages, theft, or (initial storage) of possessions left on site after vacating the Park.
